Spirited Away easily took first place, advancing to the Quarter-Final Round.
I chose Howl's Moving Castle, which tied for second place, to also advance.

Bueno, al fin la he visto. Y… es desde luego la más floja de toda la saga. Hace parecer más solida a Scream 3 en comparación, porque al menos aquella pese a sus problemas de melodrama y casi parodia tenía su contenido de metalenguaje cinematográfico bien claro (trilogías), retazos de personalidad propia y un comentario y subtexto que han envejecido tristemente bien. Esta en cambio se siente como un reciclaje de ideas, una copia/pega de manual. El contenido meta ya se había visto algo minimizado en la sexta entrega, pero como parte de una subversión en las motivaciones de Ghostface

Very here for complex, messy Supergirl, along with her emotional support chaotic dog, dealing with the loss of her planet and the feeling that she doesn't belong.

Also very here for Jason Momoa as Lobo, a role he was definitely meant to play, and for "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted" by Jimmy Ruffin in the soundtrack. The comic the film is adapting is one of the best, most emotional and deep Supergirl stories, and I hope it does the source material justice. First trailer is looking good:
