The Peter Pan of Nerdery™Got a portable 15" monitor (comes with a cute little stand) for Prime day for $63. Planning on deploying the #OdroidN2 with #Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and using it as a kitchen/lounge "remote PC", maybe having it permanently remote-desktopped to my big machine in the mancave. The N2 was always a beast, used to use it for Kodi in the lounge but its not DolbyVision-capable so I retired it in favour of a Firestick. Also doesn't have built-in wifi or bluetooth which *sucks*.
Norbi📷🚴♀️💻Meine Versuche, #nextcloudpi auf meinem neuen #odroidn2 Plus unter #ambian #bookworm zu installieren ist grandios fehlgeschlagen. Nach einstündiger Vorbereitung und entsprechender Planung musste ich feststellen, dass #bookworm nicht unterstützt wird. Offenbar sind alle Aktivitäten im #docker Umfeld deutlich wichtiger. Natürlich kann ich das selber zum Laufen bringen, aber will ich das mit allen Konsequenzen auf mich nehmen ?

Markus Schumann@montag Auch wenn‘s schon ein paar Tage zurückliegt, ergänze ich das Thema mal noch mit meinem Erfahrungsbericht… war auch mehrere Jahre mit verschiedenen Pi-Varianten (ich glaube, es müssten 2, 3 und 4 gewesen sein) und #LibreELEC für den #Kodi unterwegs und hatte nie Probleme.
Bin dann aus Performancegründen vor knapp zwei, drei Jahren auf einen #OdroidN2 und #CoreELEC umgestiegen und habe auch das nie bereut. Schnurrt bis heute wie ein Kätzchen, ist schnell und wird auch ohne aktive Kühlung nicht zu heiß.
