I then told her about Cates Park
And Lighthouse Park
At opposite ends
Of the North Shore.
Strangers bonding
Over a shared love
Of nature and trees.
Glimmers of light
Adding to our day.

Strangers
Yesterday I had a lovely
Interaction with
A lady on the bus.
She is visiting from Germany
And was returning from
A day spent in a forest.
We bonded over our
Love of trees.
She asked for
A recommendation
For a place to visit.
I first mentioned Lynn Canyon
And she said thatโs
Where she spent the day
And it was wonderful.
