Ah, yes. I had to stop what I was doing when the Metropolitan Opera broadcast of Turandot got to Nessun Dorma. It was sung excellently by Brian Jagde, and wow, that aria always brings me to tears.

(Sometimes it's tears of frustration when my cat is performing his own unique version at 3am, as he did today - "Nessun dorma" means "nobody sleeps".)

Annalisa landed at the Unipol Dome in Milan on Tuesday, May 9th, in front of 16,000 people, and she was the first woman to perform in the new arena. A 2.5-hour show with a series of hits one after another, supplemented by a surprise performance of "Nessun Dorma." On stage were musicians Daniel Bestonzo (keyboards & synthesizers), who also oversaw the musical direction, Gianni Pastorino (keyboards & synthesizers) and Dario Panza (Drums & electronic pads), along with 14 dancers directed by Simone Baroni. The setlist also included the new single “Canzone estiva.”

To be precise; KAJ's Nessun Dorma pastiche "Nissan bromsa" is in Vörå dialect from northern edit: _Finland_ (ie not northern Sweden - my excuse is that the border is a bit wibbly wobbly in the area). Beautiful to _my_ ears, but if any Swede from "söderöver*" is wondering why the heck their grammar and pronounciation is off from standard Swedish that's why.
