CharmedLassieTwo bits of advice that helped me immensely when first moving from Twitter to here:
1. The official mobile app is horrible but alternatives exist and are great.
2. To promote visiting Mastodon instead of Twitter, move the icon on your phone screen to where Twitter was so that your muscle memory goes for Masto and not Twitter.
