I’m rearranging a #Multiboard setup. Here are my thoughts on the various attachment methods:

Screws (bolts): works great. Easy to remove and easy to design for, though usually will be less compact.

Snaps: almost as good if you can get leverage. The low-profile versions may require a tool. Needs to be designed in a specific way to print properly.

Pegs, especially when they're in two dimensions: basically permanent. You run the risk of breaking something, which would be fine if there wasn't a good chance of that something being the grid. With a real pegboard system like Skadis, you're definitely breaking the accessory and not the board. Needs to be designed in a specific way to print properly.

I have been trying to get some parts I need for my #multiBoard due to half of my filament holder's anchor point snapping... and I am stuck with an endless download spinner.

Still a little confused about how BaseFeatures work and if I can replace them without killing the whole tree, but I am getting there.

I have gone and done it - I've installed a cup holder onto my #Multiboard. Hopefully this doesn't end up being the catastrophe it definitely could be.

It doesn't flex... that much.

The split and fold trick from the #multiboard folks is a pretty slick way to improve layer orientation.

I've split and glued before or made multipart assemblies to get the "correct" layer orientation, but this seems very cheap and easy to maintain alignment of the split parts
