The curse of DIY.
My trailer bed plate is rotten, so I'm replacing it. Of course some of the hardware has also seen better days. New parts are not that expensive, but where's the fun in that?
Am meisten Spaß habe ich, wenn nach viel Messen, Planen und Designen direkt im ersten Wurf das gewünschte Ergebnis rauskommt. Wie immer erkennbar am befriedigenden Klickgeräusch, wenn Dinge millimetergenau zusammenpassen.

Having some trouble with #FreeCAD (now 1.1, but was happening in 1.0.2 too)
When I change a value in a spreadsheet, it updates everywhere, except in the placement for the second body. It just insists on staying the original value.
Editing the formula, it shows the right number, but clicking OK doesn't change the value.
Clearing the formula and putting it back in again works.
Why?

Working with @Liz29 to design & build a Japanese-style sushi board, to be carved into 3D using a CNC router, and then marked with Japanese characters using a CO2 laser. Started with her hand-drawn sketch, designed in 3D using #FreeCAD (on #Mint #Debian #Linux). Used FreeCAD CAM (computer aided manufacturing) tool to design the machine instructions for the #CNCRouter
