New Minecraft Archeology video is up! 🏰

This session took us into the Nether with the YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses mod - and when we finally found the fortress after a rough start dodging ghasts and bad terrain, it was massive. A giant castle in the center, multiple floors, a whole basement full of enemies, and tons of loot. Zero deaths the entire run.

The way home was a bit of a disaster though. Return portal spawned in the middle of the ocean. Took a boat to shore, found a desert, and used a Waystones teleporter to get back. Classic.

Hey #minecraft fedi, @RedstoneLP2 and i are putting together a small #modpack for a private server (and might release it if time and licences allow).

Does anyone have recommendations for ore generation mods or datapacks?

We're looking to make ore veins larger, but less frequent, and more homogenous (e.g. 1-2 types per biome-sized region), so that travel and exploration is more rewarding.

Currently testing on 1.20.1 and fabric, but that's not set in stone yet.
