So , I did my math. Tweaked my #Minecraft #Modpack settings and configs and worked out a good system with adequate throughput without too much excess.
I used Applied Energistics for the Logistics as it made sending out the correct amounts at the correct times so much easier than using vanilla #Create
Not linked it up to the rest of my base yet. I need to get rid of all my temp waterwheels and power them all from my central powerstation.
I found a non functional (old mod version) powerstation schematic online and gutted it and rebuilt its interior completely to house my power station.
Built the new schematic in survival on my non test world but designed and built it first in creative on my flat test world.
took AGES to gather the mats needed ;D
STATS FOR NERDS.
12 max level boilers generating 1,179,648 SU (stress units) = 14,155,776 SU
72 Alternators each generating 768 FE/ME (forge energy) per tick = 55,296 FE/t (1,105,920 FE per second)
24 Accumulators (batteries) storing 147,500,000 ME/FE = a total storage power bank of 3,540,000,000 FE/ME !!
and I still have 12,756,768 SU left over for powering my create equipment the normal way with rotational energy (SU)
Converting SU to FE and Back is Lossy. The alternators are 75% efficient so where I can use SU natively I will but having wireless power "on tap" (Flux Networks) is super handy.
Especially with Electric motors I can turn FE back into SU where needed.
Overkill much? yes. Normally I'd build max level reactors with turbines but this back is tech limited. Only AE2 and Flux Networks for tech mods. No Powah, No Extreme Reactors, No Mekanism etc.
Mostly Create and Create additions with Apotheosis and Silent Gear.
