Has anyone else with #ObsessiveCompulsiveDisorder and/or #Trichotillomania had success with NAC (N-acetylcysteine) and then had it suddenly stop working for them? Have you tried it again, or found something else that helped?

My doc has prescribed iron tablets for me last month.
There was no box or leaflet from the chemist when collecting them, they were just in a resealable bag with directions to take them on a printed sticker.
Would anyone have a clue as to how long they should start working?
It's a bank holiday weekend here so emails are going unanswered, as are phones but that question popped into my head last night while trying to sleep and now I'm very curious
