I sort of forgot about Mastodon for a while there.

I made a Facebook account a while ago to keep up with some friends, family, and goings on (mostly with the Slate truck).

Poking back here, I realize what a breath of fresh air it is. I should really focus on what's going on here as opposed to the rage machine. It's much cozier.

Facebook, Twit, the comment sections of newspapers and Youtube, and other locations all exist to remind me that a large percentage of my species are either idiots, or easily led to say and believe idiotic things. Mastodon exists to remind me that I don't have to listen to their inane, stupid, ignorant shit or have a damn thing to do with them.
