Yesterdays 5 min #pleinairpril paints with warriorpainters in the morning. Scenes from England. Going back to digital is actually messy-feeling, compared to the necessary sparseness of inking and negative space. Having to rethink my color contrast and form.

Pencil and watercolor. I like doing an underdrawing with pencil rather than ink to plan it out. I also feel like I'm getting more control over my colors.
My first map crunch. Used the limited, outside palette for an extra challenge. Used white acrylic for the road lines.
