Nächster Termin: 09.04.

My viagrid PCBs arrived yesterday. Looking forward to experimenting with them.
I want to mill them with the #carvera CNC and try to make solder masks and silk screens with our new #eufymakee1 uv printer.

Anyone who can recommend a cool MP3 radio?

As in something that is mostly a radio but can also shuffle sd card mp3's?

Ton of them on aliexpress and whatever, but I wanna know if you have one and you like it :)

I am trying to ensure that I don't accidentally do another failed hardware project with a raspi lol

Erste Station heute früh wäre die #Boulangerie gewesen, die hat Montags geschlossen. Dann versuche ich rauszufinden ob das #DI #makerlab diese Woche Mal offen hat?
so since I got some extra cash I have been seriously committing working on my room, doing some maker lab stuff, and ultimately designing and making prototypes for a couple of products that I've had in the works for a while...
I want to start replacing my big ground bed with a smaller loft/overhang bed so I have more space. Maybe I'll paint since the paint job in there is a dark color and it makes the room darker. I kind of want to keep it on two of the walls for nostalgia purposes because I originally picked this paint when I was 16 and maybe fill up those walls with paper and posters and stuff... And paint the other 2 walls maybe a cool shade of green or blue. If we paint. I'll maybe get rid of some stuff and start building shelving and storage vertically to save on space. (I have a big room but I like to keep a lot of stuff.) I'll fold up my treadmill because I'm not really using it anymore and it takes up a lot of space. I'll make an area for 3D printers. The first maker thing I want to do is get my old tevo tarantula up and running. It needs a new main board. I was gonna get it a BTT SKR v1.4 . It needs one of the axis's redone (I believe it's the X axis). I ought to fully upgrade it.
https://all3dp.com/1/tevo-tarantula-upgrades-mods/
I also have a DLP printer that hasn't been opened in there. I want to use that and add it to my 3D printer collection. I may end up designing my own big 3D printer... I might need to design a CNC if I decide I have work for a CNC (I like CNC's) My old CNC is in pieces and it's made out of wood anyways I'd like to make on that can cut metal out of aluminum extrusions and stuff. I might not mess around with a laser cutter. It's dangerous and the CNC is prob all I need. We'll see if I need a laser cutter any time soon...
Ya but I want to work on my 3D printer immediately... And I need a space for doing plastic molding likely. I'm prob gonna need to mold some plastic from two part resins just for on of my product prototypes.
I have space for electronics in a room downstairs so that's covered just got to invest in that. I'm gonna need to figure out a storage solution for the electronics components tho. And I need a working soldering iron and stuff like that. I only have soldering irons that don't work and I don't want to break the bank on that. I don't know maybe a cheap oscilloscope...
In my room I'm gonna need a space (maybe under the bed) for a little office or something. That is unless I just have a laptop or two and instead have a little couch chair pointing at my 43" OLED.
It's prob better that I have the electronics lab downstairs because my dad works with electronics too and he's gonna want to use it.
I have plastic storage in my closet.
I have storage under my TV.
So ya it would be cool to f*ck around with a little maker lab (3D printers, CNC, electronics, molding, etc) and try to make a couple products.
I need a space for a saw table for cutting wood and aluminum extrusions. Technically I think we have one of those in the cottage garage. So maybe I can just use that if it still works... I'm afraid to use a saw like that gives me some anxiety...
I have some type of dremel set up downstairs if I end up needing that. It's really easy I think to get saws and stuff on aliexpress I think anyways.
So ya there should still be some room after that. I'll look at what other people are doing and try to learn more in general.

But ultimately I just want to start with some of the things I listed at first like the bed, paint and getting my 3D printer working and just go from there.

Now that the interior decorating is complete, it’s time to drill heaps of holes in the walls to mount shelves and build the built-in workbench ;)

It’s nice to be building again Vs painting..except of course my OCD mandates all visible framing must be painted.
