Played a one shot Mage game for old friends yesterday. I didn’t have a lot prepared, just three npcs and one event. But I love how my friends rp and bounce ideas off each other, so it was a great evening of laughs.

I miss them, it’s a shame we live so far apart.

I somehow missed that they made a lot more books for Mage 20th anniversary edition. So I ordered a bunch. When I was shelving them I realized they were numbered. Now I have to know which ones I’m missing.

What are books 3, 5, 8, 9, and 11?

This was my absolute favorite of the WW RPGs, with Changeling a close second.

A dear old friend will be visiting in September. I asked him what he’d like to play while here and he would love a Mage game for old times sake.

Now I have to figure out the mages of Portland and what weirdness will be afoot.

Also I realized there are way more books for Mage20 than I realized.

Visiting Florida for the weekend. Found a new games store with a shelf in the back, packed with a lot of old used White Wolf books (Black Harbor Gaming in Largo). Went in to browse, left with a pile of old Mage books, a game which I've never gotten around to playing.

I've thought about running a short campaign using GURPS: Mage the Ascension.

I'll probably never get around to it.
