A fresh image of the object that made me want to have a smart telescope. #M57 #TheRingNebula. #unistellar #odysseypro #space #astronomy #amateur
Continuing on the nebulas, here is #M57 - #TheRingNebula. I have commented before that I think the unprocessed image looks better on an earlier post. #unistellar #odysseypro #space #astronomy #amateur
Decided to go take a look at #M57 #TheRingNebula again. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur

The Ring Nebula #M57 in constellation Lyra is a planetary nebula. If you squint your eye, you can almost see the white dwarf star in the center of the ring.

Good Monday morning. More observations from last night and this morning from the s50. Starting out with #M57 #TheRingNebula. The first 2 images are the result with the LP filter onboard the s50. The next 2 are without the LP filter. #seestar #S50 #space #astronomy #amateur
Look up to the sky...
There it is, the M57, also known as the Ring Nebula. A planetary nebula about 2,000 light-years away, quietly glowing in the constellation Lyra.
After a couple of nights out with the telescope, battling focus, clouds, and expectations, this photo is far from perfect — but it's real. A tiny ring of gas, the remains of a dying star, floating in the void.

Still... “The Ring – One Nebula to rule them all!”

Last observation of this morning is the #M57 - #RingNebula. Just a 21 minute observation this morning. Sharing telescope processed and unprocessed images. #unistellar #odysseypro #space #astronomy #amateur
Some shots of the Ring Nebula, M57. I split the shoot to try to catch the moon, which failed probably due to trees, and now the Seestar doesn't want to process the whole stack. Might try later with Siril. #astrophotography #seestar #M57
Did an automated run of half an hour each on assorted high altitude Messier objects after a failed run at Palomar 4. #astrophotography #seestar #M102 #M92 #M57 #M13 #M27 #M71 #M15
Last observation of the morning. Observed the #M57 - #RingNebula. Sharing 2 images. The first is the ring nebula processed by the onboard software second image is the non-processed image. Both images are 28 minute exposure. I do like the processed images as they do focus on the target, but sometimes you seem to sacrifice highlights of the object. #unistellar #odysseypro #space #astronomy #amateur
