Hello friends! As we start to wrap up for wider release we've got plenty to talk about. In the next few posts we're gonna explore what it feels like and looks like to use luxe to make games, in concrete detail, so get a cozy seat and we'll talk about

luxe engine

I spent this week looking at alternatives to #Unity after that rugpull disaster from last week. I checked out #godotengine, #defold, #FlaxEngine and #luxeengine

There's no clear solution for me but I've written up my thoughts in my weekly devlog over in the Sharkbomb Discord.

TL;DR: Godot and Luxe are both contenders but I'm not sure I want to commit to the switch now, or after this project. Godot console support and Luxe editor features are my sticking points.

dev log #8 - preview progress

Oh hey, it's 2019... And we're three months in :D Wait a second, this seems familiar... ah yes dev log #7 was a year ago already! Whew. 2018 was a pretty great year for luxe progress. A lot of big questions were resolved, a lot of progress was made and
