Seven (7)Okay, intro post time! I've decided to only use Tumblr-style tags because I consider Wafrn to be my main audience, but Fedi and bsky users feel free to interact. :)
Hi! ๐ My name is Seven and I'm mostly here because I miss oldschool Tumblr I guess! I am also on Pillowfort under the same username and have two other Fedi accounts, the public one being @gibbon where I post in German.
I'm an autistic and chronically ill person approaching middle age who has never been able to work. I went to the German equivalent of high school and had to drop out just a few weeks into 11th grade, so I'm not the most educated. However, I have a talent for languages and would probably be learning several rn if autistic burnout wasn't currently kicking my ass.
As it is, I speak German, English and a little bit of Mandarin. I understand a little French. I've tried and failed to learn Polish and Cantonese (one day I will try again) and have been tempted to pick up Lingala for a while. I took Latin in middle school and enjoyed it. ๐๐ปโโ
My main interest at this time is gibbons! ๐ต I'm also super fascinated by human evolution, ape evolution in general, and that time period where our species coexisted with other species of human.
I don't really have hobbies anymore, but in theory I'm an artist with a focus on abstract art and like to do weird DIY projects, especially upcycling. I've watched a lot of Chinese dramas and intend to eventually pick that up again. I'm terrible at discovering new music, but appreciate a wide variety of genres when I do manage it.
I'm a presumably perisex nonbinary person who was assigned female at birth but aspires to be as much of an ally to transfem and intersex folks as it is possible to be. In a similar vein, I'm a supposed "low support needs" (the burnout makes it complicated) autistic who has had ENOUGH of lateral ableism against higher support needs autistics and people with intellectual disabilities.
(Come to think of it, I'm also a slightly chubby person who's passionate about fat liberation. Look, I just get mad when someone has it even worse than I do! Which should be the normal reaction!!)
I don't tolerate ableism against schizospec folks and those with personality disorders or dissociative disorders, either. I have beef with the psychiatric system. I still wear a mask in public spaces. I'm pro-plural, pro-therian, pro-furry, pro-kink etc. and do my best to be antiracist!
