Can someone explain to me why some youtube videos can be watched on #Mastodon, but not others? Presumably it's youtube who decide that. Just tried to upload a couple of versions of #LilacWine, but neither is uploading. Both are beautiful. Hadn't heard the Elkie Brooks one since the 1970s and I was worried I may not still think it's so beautiful. Glad to discover it is. There's several great versions of it. Nina Simone did one too. The first was Adam West's Cat Woman: Eartha Kitt.
