Walking, writing, and practicing #PKM through @HaroldJarche’s #PKMastery workshop have given me space to think, notice, and learn out loud.

Sitting at #POD25 thinking about how much fear + doubt get in the way of our PKM practice.

Ira Glass reminds us there’s always a gap between where we are and where we want to be—but there’s also so much value along the way.

This week I’m remembering that the only path is doing the work (even when we feel not-quite-ready) and #LearningOutLoud.

I'm going to do another SuperCollider livestream tonight. Maybe continuing the sound design from last time, maybe following some curiosities I wrote down somewhere, maybe practicing livecoding.

Because I want to spend some leisurely time outside after sitting at my desk for too long, I will push the time to 21:00-ish CEST. (That's 19:00 UTC, 3 PM EDT, noon PDT).

As usual, I'll stream on my Twitch channel: https://twitch.tv/the_emergent

Thanks for #LearningOutLoud with us Ang!

It started with @cogdog sharing about #LiaScript, combined w/ me, once again, wanting to burn a course to the ground.

I'm #learningoutloud throughout the process of redesigning my 2024 Spring course using #markdown #OER #LiaScript #AI and a lot of #CompassionateChallenge (thank you, @SaRoseCav ❤️

No doubt I'll make mistakes along the way and change my mind, often... If that sort of thing is interesting to you, here's how it started:

I believe in #WorkingOutLoud as in "narrating your work and make it observable" but wonder what other major forms of "out loud behavior" conceptually exist and how to relate them to each other.
This post for example is #ThinkingOutLoud as I just share my thoughts. #LearningOutLoud on the other hand I consider a special form of thinking where it's about sharing and reflecting on learnings specifically. Other thoughts?

I'm pushing tonight's #SuperCollider #livestream to 8 pm CET again. It's just easier to coordinate with my wife's schedule, as she's having one of those very busy days again.

See you then on my Twitch channel:

So this year at #OER19 one of my students and I are talking about failure to connect (we titled our proposal - When connection fails: What to do with all the lemons) and yes, there was a class-A belly flop of a project last semester where all my students collectively turned into lemons. (I gave them a great chance to do stuff outside the curriculum and they went, meh.) We're putting heads together to do a 'take 2' and see if I can get it right... 1/
