Whew. With the power of the https://modulargrid.net/e/mordax-data-silver Mordax Data, I was able to finally see and understand all of my https://modulargrid.net/e/steady-state-fate-ultra-random-redux Ultra-Random Redux, instead of just "winging it." Finally, I learned exactly what slew and the slew-delta knob did. Same with wave rectification, etc. Technical documentation is fine, but it never really registered or engaged the ol' creativity. :)

I feel like it is just, knowing that christianity was compulsory for many of my ancestors, but not for me, except also kind of for me? since it has completely absorbed my government and most of my society, that sets my brain on fire.

I've been getting like contamination ocd about it, while also knowing that the ocd tendencies in my family are not exactly unrelated to the christianity AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Been speaking with my drummer friend about the utility of using effects on your drums. I started contemplating an effects module for my drum synth. A bit of snare reverb, I can see. But he said "Don't chorus ...anything," when I suggested it might make the one-dimensional cymbals "shimmer."

Hmmm. Maybe I am imagining (expensive,) once in a blue moon things, anyway. 🤔

I left the apps that learned my loneliness better than I did.

Not because I'm above it — I grew up inside their machine. I know every trick, every tug, every algorithm dressed as friendship.

But here's what they never understood: you can raise someone inside a garden and they'll still remember the soil.

I came here to think out loud without being harvested.

Looking at how Trump behaved during his first term, i mentioned to friends that i thought (then) that Trump was the first 'actor' i cold think off who got totally lost in a role he was playing (a smart business mogul in The Apprentice - a job he was hired to play)
Now I think he behaves like a president he's seen in movies - the kind where they can do and say anything and it gets done, often without kind of backing from congress or the senate - because you hardly see that part in movies.
