Latines need our own social media. We had it back in the day. I think it's time we make something.

We're clearly unwelcomed and it's time we take the hint. Shit isn't getting any better than what we see today.

My Religion Made Halloween a Taboo, so Celebrating It Now Is Liberating

Halloween is a quintessential U.S. holiday, marked by creativity, costumes, and eeriness. And it’s that tie to the paranormal that has kept the day off-limits for some Latines. From Latine neighborhoods here and across Latin America and the Caribbean, there are the homes with “No triko tri” signs outside their houses. Oftentimes, these Latine households view Halloween through deeply rooted religious beliefs that define the holiday as dangerous or contrary to their faiths.

I must say, and I'm pretty sure I talk for most latinamericans here:
We DON'T LIKE being called #latinxs. If you want to refer to southern countries people, just call us latinamericans, latins or #latinos (if you are refering to only females then #latinas), but just don't use "latinxs". Why? Because we ALREADY have a name.
Most people use "latinxs" because it's suposed to be gender neutral, but in reality, the term "latinos" can be both gendered or ungendered, depending of the context.
If you're refering to nonbinary people, usually they prefer the term #latines.
So, summarizing: if you're refering to latinamericans in general, use "latinos". If you're refering to MALE latinamericans, also use "latinos". If you're refering to FEMALE latinamericans, use "latinas". And for last, if you're refering to NON-BINARY latinamericans -- And ONLY in that case -- "latines".
Thanks for reading, and please boost if you appreciate this. (extra context in comment)

What's at Stake As States Ban the Term "Latinx"

As the political right bans books, lessons on critical race theory, instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity, and student organizations on diversity and inclusion in a united attack on so-called woke culture, there is yet another prohibition on the horizon: the ban on "Latinx."
