I have lived in Tijuana for six years and still cannot speak Spanish fluently. So when I walked into the hardware store and asked, ¿Tienes cinta de teflon?, and got 15 seconds of rapid fire flawlessness in return, it broke my brain.

The good news is I have teflon tape. It costs 20 pesos. I'm sure I embarrassed the heck out of myself, but I have it and now I can fix my showerhead.
