While the mood and especially the story deviates from the original, sometimes significantly, I never had that "OMG, WHY OH WHY" feeling. Plenty of mindfucks and no loose ends, highly recommended for fans of "Dark":

And I’ve just finished this series. My goodness it’s good. All sorts of twists and turns, and the four main characters are so likeable, engaging, rich and so well acted. Sorry to be a sop, too, but it’s so nice to have a… well, I’ll not spoil it but the ending was just right. I even nearly spot on predicted one of the final scenes of three of the four (I predicted all four) walking along (sort of) together. Fab, fab stuff. #KYAL
