Nasz kolega sięgnął po #Kolourpaint i przygotował nawet przyjazną grafikę zapraszającą do udziału.
Będziemy dawać więcej szczegółów, ale już teraz możecie wbijać na nasz komunikator i dołączyć do organizatorów.

I started with #Kolourpaint which is an MS Paint clone for KDE, but now I'm loving #Xournalpp
Is it telling that after playing around with @inkscape and @Krita, I ended up just using #KolourPaint with my new #wacom tablet?
Absolutely not a knock against those two utterly amazing tools. But this comes back to an Adam Savage quote I heard just recently via Joel Barnard, I think:
"Buy cheap tools until you know what you really need from that tool, then buy the best version you can afford."
In this case, it would be something more like:
"When learning a new skill, start off with the dead-simplest software tools you can get your hands on, and then branch out to more advanced stuff once you get an idea of which direction you will be going in, and what your needs are."
I still want to learn Inkscape, because the idea of sketching in vectors is just so cool to me.
NL Linux Gebruikers GroepWist je dat er sinds november 2024 een in het Nederlands vertaald gratis handboek voor Kolourpaint beschikbaar is op https://zorin-os-forum.be/download/file.php?id=1932&sid=5739a9caa7e9a504cc558498e70be1f6 ? (credits ZorinOS gebruiker Gerard Nouwen).
Het programma lijkt op Microsoft Paint en maakt op een snelle manier eenvoudige grafische bewerkingen mogelijk. (tekenen, bijsnijden, roteren, kleuren aanpassen, pictogram bewerking - clipart en logo's tekenen met transparantie, etcetera)

The same system ran WinXP and Win 7 inside of VMs, allowing use of Adobe software and other Windows apps.
At the time I had been using Linux full-time at my business for about 4-5 years.
Soon I would take a Linux netbook with me for working abroad (running Ubuntu's netbook distro), along with a Nokia n810 as media station. The years 2009-2012 were, in my work, the second big wave of Linux on the Desktop. It was extremely fun and I'm still trying to recapture some of the enjoyment of those days, which faded a bit with the rise of the cloud.
