Классная камера, на самом деле.
Ладно, там есть серьёзные нюансы и главный, убийственный - контроль качества. Эта конкретная камера, например, не имела шансов на попадание в резкость в ближнем поле. А кто-то ведь снимал и думал, что это - норма 😢.
Мне нравится эргономика Зоркого больше, чем эргономика Киева/Contax. Намного удобнее ставить выдержки, видоискатель удобнее и есть коррекция диоптрий, что мне-очкарику важно. Нету этой блокировки снятия с бесконечности, которая неожиданно требует дополнительного движения. Ну и Киев, как ни возьми - пальцы лезут в окуляр, там один специфический хват. Зоркий в моей руке ощущается удобнее. Но мой нос иногда тормозит 😅вращение диска установки выдержки при спуске, кадр засвечивается.
У Киева мне нравится тихий затвор с вертикальным движением металлических шторок.
Базовая оптика у них почти одинаковая и она меня устраивает. Индустар-50, что на этом Зорком, мне не нравится - хочется чего-то большего, чем 4-линзовый "тессар", да и опять же, эргономика у него страдает - кольцо диафрагмы легко нечаянно сдвинуть пальцем, столько раз это мне портило кадр...

Обе камеры, Киев/Contax и Зоркий/Leica, очень хороши. Но имеют разные концепты.

This camera is with me today, with Helios-103. I like Kiev/Contax so much.
On the one hand, Helios-103 is an excellent lens. There is no better lens for this camera.
On the other hand, it's a shame that the blades weren't blackened. In sunny weather, everything inside is simply flooded with reflections. The image suffers, the contrast disappears. 🤷
Unfortunately, all lenses from the late USSR suffered from this. To make cool optics and mechanics, but not blacken the diaphragm blades! Pity and sad, what can I say...

I repaired my Jupiter-12 lens which had mechanical defect not allowing to get focus. Now it works like charm! Happy with it. I'm pretty surprised that this simple lens gives such good pictures on my Kiev-4 cam.

First film shoot and developed in Zurich. Honestly there was no special slow mood to shoot, lot of things to care of. So I'm not satisfied of it. Moreover, my camera Kiev-4 still gets some light transpassed and lens is still not perfectly anjusted.

Is it sensible to put Portra 800 in Kiev-4a (aka Contax II)? Considering the price of this film, I wanna squeeze more than 36 frames, and I managed to shot 39 frames one time with my Kiev. Or better to put it in my trustworthy Nikon F4? What do you think? Also film is expired by 2 years, but was stored in fridge, is box speed OK or better rate it at around iso 640?
