Ich freue mich immer, wenn ich die Zeit finde ein wenig was zu basteln.
Heute habe ich endlich mal die #Keycaps verdingst, die hier schon seit Monaten auf ihren Einsatz warten.

Cool an denen ist, dass oben das deutsche Layout und an den Seiten durchscheinend das (us-)englische* Layout zu sehen ist.

Ich hatte heute die Freude, eine Akko TAC75 HE zu modifizieren.

Ein schwarzes, ANSI Modell mit side-printed PBT Keycaps.

Muss sagen, dass mir solche Sachen einfach Spaß machen und ich mag es bei mechanischen Tastaturen gewisse Upgrades zu machen.

Hier war es ein wenig kniffelig den Rahmen zerstörungsfrei runter zu bekommen, aber es hat mit viel Geduld geklappt.

Ich weiß aber noch nicht, ob ich diese Tastatur behalten möchte, da ich eigentlich nicht mehr so sehr auf lineare Switches stehe... auch wenn diese Tastaur so genannte Hall Effect Switches hat, die nicht per Kontakt, sondern per magnetischem Feld ausgelöst werden.

Aside from the occasional "low profile bad", the keyboard snobs seem pretty based. Most of them seem to recognize that 'feel' is a matter of preference.

And I love that the modding scene usually revolves around inexpensive things like foam padding, grease and duct tape.

I finally got proper Tux meta keys for my keyboard. I’ve wanted a keyboard with Tux keys for so long!

Having the windows logo on my keyboard has been one of those tiny annoyances that is just uncomfortable enough to be irritating. But not uncomfortable enough to actually do something about it.

As it turns out, WASD has them and they’re super affordable!
