I finally chose a #keyboard, thinking about what I liked, rather than taking whatever came with a machine or was in my box of spare parts. Or picking up the shiny pretty Apple one - more suited in the end to someone else.
I like my slightly clicky clacky one, and the brief light on each pressed key is much more use than I expected.

I use a #SunMicrosystems type 7 #keyboard on my #Mac. It's a very nice keyboard. But I remember the type 6 being a bit better. And I just found one for sale on ebay!

Doctor0710Just switched my keyboard on my phone to an OSS one. I don't know why it took me so long to realize you don't NEED to use big tech keyboards. I found HeliBoard on F-Droid, looks like an AOSP based keyboard, without any internet permissions. Way snappier than Swiftkey was.

Beim dem hier verlinkten ist es so, das der „Lappen", der den Stifft halten soll wenn die Tastatur zugeklappt ist, im Bild rum hängt und nur stört. Ist das iPad vom Winkel so eingestellt, dass es für mich am besten ist, kommt man mit den Fingern schlecht an die Nummern und Sonderzeichen ran. Der Abstand zischen Tastatur und Tablet ist so gering oder meine Finger einfach zu dick.
