Geilo, kaum zuhause zeigt mir #KDEconnect die Mastodon Benachrichtigungen, die mir mein #fedilab android client nicht anzeigt. Linux, einfach anders zuverlässig.

So #kdeconnect you're going to lose out to Apple's ecosystem again. I'm going to walk this device over to my Mac laptop without a screen, pair it and shoot all my files over without having to think.

I can reserve some frustration with Apple who doesn't make everything available over the wired connection, sure.

What is this tepid garbage alpha quality software doing in the app store?

Despite its strengths, the honeymoon period with Linux, etc, free software is a string of empty promises.

Yes, #kdeconnect which through much hand-holding, unprompted firewall rule modifications, delayed pairing prompts weakly sort of connected.

It matters not one bit whether this software is free, I'd even be upset if I had been paid to use it.

Can you imagine the state of the world if this was my only option for getting files off my failing iPod?

I mostly love KDE and use it on some of my computers. But this program takes off the shine in a big way.

When asked "What is software for?" some would say it's for making money, others to give the computer something to do, its raison d'être, others still would say software if for people, to allow them to accomplish things.

Today I would say it's simply for pissing me off. Congrats go to #kdeconnect which is supposed to be this amazing thing for connecting your mobile device to your laptop but which failed to transfer one file and then failed to ever connect properly again.

Grummelgrumpf!

Seit dem Update auf #Plasma 6.7.0 hängt sich irgendein Prozess von #kdeconnect regelmäßig auf und lässt Prozessor und Lüfter auf Vollgas laufen.

Nervt!

Es hat scheinbar auch #kdeconnect gekillt. Läuft zwar im Hintergrund und lässt den Lüfter heißlaufen, tut aber nicht.

What the?!?

Apparently, putting the #FydeOS tablet in stand-by - folding up the keyboard - triggering the magnetic sensor ... #KDEconnect PAUSES any playback on my daily driver main PC!

I'd consider that a bug - i didn't configure anything, related - this must be default behaviour!

I DO NOT WANT my daily driver playback to get paused, when i fold up my tablet keyboard, putting it into stand-by/hibernate!

What kinda #Bug is this?
