Ich habe dann mal unter Linux die #AusweisApp eingerichtet mit dem #Smartphone als Lesegerät. PC und Smarty wollten nicht miteinander sprechen.
Fehlersuche. Ein bisschen gegoogelt. Fehler gefunden. Und dabei dann auch gleich noch den Fehler gefunden, warum mein #KdeConnect nicht funktionierte.
Fehler behoben und jetzt funktioniert beides. 🤗

So this is getting on my nerves, maybe someone has an idea?

Every now and then I have the content of my clipboard pasted into whichever window is open at the moment (mostly intellij). I suspect that KDE-Connect is responsible and i did deactivate it - which seemed to get rid of the behaviour. I don't really want to deactivate it, though...

This didn't happen until a few weeks ago.

Just learned that a change to #KDEConnect on #iOS or a change to iOS now prevents direct file sharing between an iPhone and a MacBook… Fuck Apple!

"KDE Connect has unexpectedly crashed". Oh no, KDE, I expected it to crash. It crashes every single time I turn off my bluetooth headphones, and always has. In fact I've come to think of the headphones' off button as a KDE Connect off button, that's how much I expect it to crash.

I currently use LocalSend to move files from my computer to my phone. Usually map files, and music.

How does KDE Connect impact battery life on the phone?

It does more, but since it's always running, I'm curious how significant it's impact.
