Either Haagen-Dazs or Ben & Jerry's have always been my picks for a nice ice cream. Now obviously, they are US-owned, so I haven't been buying them. Though Ben and Jerry are truly lovely people that do deserve support in general.
Anyway, this got me down the road of looking up Canadian ice cream brands. Some I knew and they were perfectly fine. But for whatever reason, I only tried Kawartha a couple weeks ago.

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) District Health Unit has received confirmation of a positive measles case within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The resident is an adult, fully vaccinated, with exposure originating from close contact with a previously confirmed measles case from another region.
