** Thoughts? ** I have Stellaris and a couple of DLCs in my Steam cart, but am not sure about making the purchase. The entire range of DLCs is // very // expensive. And the game seems like a giant spreadsheet manipulator at times. Is what this video says true? Is the base game playable without a lot of DLCs?

Just finished reading GROUCHO: The Life and Times of Julius Henry Marx by Stefan Kanfer. Good bio of the flawed but brilliant comedian and film star, with a lot about the brothers, family, and co-stars. Sympathetic without being fawning or sycophantic. Groucho's final years were more tragedy than comedy. I have enjoyed the Marx Brothers' films and now want to see them again.
