Got the new Valancourt reprint of “In A Lonely Place” for my birthday. Pretty curious about this. I’ve read all KEW’s sword & sorcery Kane stories, but very few of his straight horror stories.

I seem to recall borrowing the #RepoMan #soundtrack (#SuicidalTendencies' Institutionalized, etc.) long before seeing the #film from a weird #library used since childhood. Staffed by suspiciously quiet hippies (#Autons?), it was stocked with many strangely eclectic and rebellious items, including a lot of #punk and obscure #sciencefiction and #horror #books. My first #KanetheMysticSwordsman #swordandsorcery book, #DarkCrusade by #KarlEdwardWagner, was also from there.
