There are a couple of doozies in this article about the #TTC’s #512Streetcar shutdown -- why is the TTC only thinking now about how to run buses in the dedicated lane? Why is #JoshMatlow only “asking questions” now?
The thing that gets me is the response from the TTC: 15 years! Is that all they expect streetcar tracks to last? And this is track inside a station, sheltered from the elements.

Just re-watched this. Josh Matlow is making all the right moves and setting the right tone to acquire the centrist position in the race. I think as Torontonians start paying attention, he’ll move up into Olivia Chow’s place on the board — a spot she gained at the starting point with her name recognition. This was just fantastic.
