After living 8 years in Scarborough (just barely, a block from Victoria Park) I can say with absolute certainty the 90s amalgamation was a mistake - and the same is true for Etobicoke and other former municipalities. The priorities of people who live here are completely different from someone living downtown. Not wrong, not misplaced, just different enough to justify a local government. #toronto #TOpoli
