@paul_edwin I tend to shy away from the bigger ones but try to adopt a #JFDI attitude when I'm reminded of, or learn about, something that there's no reason not to enter. An email nudge from an event organiser or SI Entries forthcoming event listings will often be enough.

#VisonZero plans will continue to fail to improve per-mile or per-population, or whatever metric, until policy / "Engineering" manuals default to remove car-only lanes and reduce car speeds in response to the problem of too many cars moving too fast without adequate infrastructure. There will never be ENOUGH infrastructure for all cars to always go as fast as possible. The only achievable answer is to say ENOUGH to cars. #BanCars #FuckCars #LegalizeBikes #BusLanes #JFDI

Meanwhile, designating the outside lanes of this and our other four/five-lane #stroads (high-crash corridors) as bus+turn-only would help mitigate many of the problems by reducing the speed and proximity of car traffic to the bike lanes. #BusLanes #JFDI #ClimateActionNow
