I can't wait until AI content farms apply the same logic as legacy newspapers and lobby Congress and state legislators to make Meta and Alphabet pay them for posting content to their sites.
Proposed #digital link tax bill #JCPA would fail to accomplish stated goals of benefitting journalists while creating new problems for websites, the digital economy, & the #internet itself.

Re-introduced #tech-targeted #antitrust bills like #AICOA & #JCPA lack strong factual basis & sound #economics - issues raised by bipartisan lawmakers as well as experts from @mercatus years ago.
The #JCPA - which failed for the 2nd time last Congress - still has significant problems and constitutional infirmities and should not be made law.
