I got two sets of #Jagwire Pro semi-metallic pads, one of which has an interesting spring design, where the spring folds around the pad material. It’s not entirely flat though, so at some point (when the pads wears out) it’ll start touching the rotor.

The other pad came with a regular spring.

There's lots I'd redo, and perhaps I will another time. Many mistakes were made, the rear brake housing should probably have come around the fork, the bar tape is icky, the caps HAVE to be replaced, etc, etc. But you know what? I'm pretty proud. Everything is working. And it's not going to be a daily ride anyway. I may strip it all and install hydraulic next fall, and take what I've learned and do better.
