Fourth run after doing proper daily strength exercises. I was able to run the whole time. IIt was only 1.5 miles but that is a win IMHO.

Note to self: don't stop daily strength exercises. Don't be lazy. IT band pain hurts like hell.

In my experience, it hurts like hell if I haven't done it in a while, and hurts less if I do it frequently. Which might be good news--but it also means that if I don't roll out my IT band for a few months, I really dislike starting again.
