📣 #SocialByoblu shuts down, again, forever. They claim they haven't enough resources to handle moderation and to protect themselves from political exploitation. Suddenly "#freespeech" becomes a burden their € 0.5mln network can't afford, whereas they have always claimed that others should bear the responsibility for their own actions. That is not free speech, that is free-riding others' tools against others' will and safety. 1/2

Seriously: who would want to host that stuff?! #Byoblu contents had been against #MastoHost terms of service from the beginning. #Messora plays the victim yet claims others' space. There is no right of platform, no #censorship. There is freedom of association, and the utmost part of the #fediverse decided not to federate them.
Who knows what will happen. In the meanwhile, we suggest to #block the whole *.byoblu.com subdomain.
