A SCOTTISH Reform UK candidate has come under fire after she called for the deportation of Muslims in a series of social media posts.
In messages unearthed by ITV Border, Galloway and West Dumfries Holyrood candidate Senga Beresford has been found to have endorsed a post that called for the UK to “deport the lot of them”, in reference to Muslims.

Most of the #problems that #Iran does have in its #society are similar to the West's own problems. Remove the #islamophobic framing and it all seems much more familiar. #Misogyny, #racism, #homophobia, limited #democracy, #police power, and #RightWing #religious #fundamentalism are not exactly unknown in the #USA or its #Western #allies.
And we don't go to #war with them. Only with a non-US-aligned Muslim country. Otherwise, we recognize that #change does not mean "overthrow the #government".

The US and Israeli attack on #Iran is
morally repugnant. It is calculated only to benefit an #elite of #racist #Islamophobic #warmongers. It will not benefit Iranians or ordinary people anywhere on earth.
There are genuine grassroots movements resisting the Iranian government, which is a blood-soaked authoritarian regime—as are the US and Israeli governments that are attacking it.
If you're opposed to treating all Jewish people as responsible for the crimes of the Israeli military (as you should be!), why not extend the same standard to Muslim people? If you believe Australians who voluntarily travelled to join #ISIS ought to face legal consequences for that decision, why not extend the same standard to Australian #IDF volunteers? Shouldn't the consequences for individuals or organisations in Australia who propagandised for #IslamicState also be faced by those that continue to whitewash or justify Israel's ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine?
And if criticising those Muslims who _do_ actually support ISIS is not inherently #Islamophobic (it is not), then it is also not inherently #antisemitic to criticise those Jewish people (and others) who support the slaughter carried out by the IDF. This is criticising people due to their support for violent, expansionist, exclusivist religious nationalism with a track record of slaughtering civilians, not criticising them for their adherence to a faith tradition or for their ethnic identity.
