Tash considered. “Blake is #inimical, Jake is #inscrutable.”
“Huh?”
“Blake’s the mean one.”
Not that Jake couldn’t be mean. He was just more subtle about it—Blake would beat you bloody the second he knew you’d wronged him. Jake would wait ten years before destroying you utterly.
Blake also had one blue eye. Most people didn’t notice, not wanting to make eye contact with him. But Tash had never been scared of either of them.
