First-time speakers are warmly encouraged, especially if you’ve done useful docs work but haven’t spoken about it publicly before.
Submit a proposal even if you’re still shaping the talk. We’d be happy to see the idea early.
@russss If only there was a conference for conference organizers; we could call it #confconf! ;)
But in all seriousness, more conferences are starting to steal our #FOSDEM devroom concept and it's working really well for them; e.g. #IndiaFOSS did so quite successfully last year. Never been at #emf #emfcamp so I don't know the programme and space availability, of course.
IndiaFOSS, the annual homecoming of the Indian FOSS and digital commons communities, is calling for your proposals!
Host your very own Devroom at #IndiaFOSS 2026!
Think a room of requirement, appears for those who really need it (and have filled out the CfP)!!

Gonna be niche, but I'd like to see more FOSS services self hosted and make it use by broader community together.
(just like discourse and jitsi we've)
But more I think about it I just feel it becomes another hard thing to cling on in practice.
- Big picture is, make other Orgs or community to self host services on their own.
After more thoughts I just feel like we don't have that many audience to implement or make use of it :(
Last year, we brought together #CCC, #COSCUP, #eventinfra, #FOSDEM, #FOSS4All Korea, #FOSSASIA, #FOSSNorth, #IndiaFOSS and I am certainly forgetting several.
If in doubt, poke me if you'd fit.
And please help us: like a conference? Make their organizers aware of this.
And, as always, #retoot appreciated!
for those who missed the Inaugural #MangaloreFOSS 2026 last week, among other things (like 2 days of incredible talks, the beautiful sea breeze and the banger ghee roasts),
fyi :) #IndiaFOSS 2026
