The devroom is a small, parallel track inside @fossunited's IndiaFOSS 2026.
The idea is simple: bring docs, writing, and FOSS folks into one room.
We want this to be a space for people who care about documentation, technical writing, contributor experience, and how open-source projects explain themselves.

Last year, the FOSS in Science devroom helped kickstart the
@scipyindia's community.
We’re hoping this devroom can do something similar for @writethedocs India.

Visited IIT Madras for ChennaiFOSS 2026. Managed to spot some deer and blackbucks on the way in, which was a definite highlight!!

Was in Bangalore last weekend for @github Constellation.
Saw an early preview of the revamped landing page & Karan M V had some cool livecoding demos!
Also got to ask GitHub's COO about AI-generated PRs flooding the open source ecosystem.
