Is it me or is blocking or reporting on #Indigo not working? (Doesn’t do anything when clicking either option on a user profile?)

I popped in to see an #art teacher today and she showed me this #watercolour block, informing me it was #indigo.

Indigo is traditionally described as the colour between blue and violet, but exactly where it belongs has become an interesting debate. Natural indigo dyes, synthetic indigo, and modern pigments can all appear slightly different to the human eye, making the colour surprisingly difficult to pin down. Can you tell I had a lesson while I was in that classroom today?

I like the idea of a colour that sits between two distinct colours, one that is hard to pin down, and doesn't quite fit in. I think if I were to be a colour, I would be indigo. An in-between, not quite one or the other.

One of indigo's nicknames is #blurple. I love it. It might be my new favourite word.

The last 2 mornings in a row, #Indigo has opened my timeline up top rather than back where I left off (9-11 hours prior). I’m wondering if this is being caused by iOS 27 beta. @soapboxsoftware has anyone else reported this happening?

With this new #Indigo app, the timeline makes more sense for me again. Beside of my Bluesky timeline, I can now finally also follow hashtags like #philippines on Mastodon, all within one timeline. And some of my old friends are just on Mastodon 🙄
