Flying out of San Jose buzzing after @chanzuckerberg.bsky.social #ImagingTheFuture.
Amazing to shake the hands of long time insprations: @andrewgyork.bsky.social @makertobey.bsky.social @manorlaboratory.bsky.social & new ones like Gustavo Menezes—plus catching up with friends & collaborators!

ICYMI: #science is beautiful.

Yesterday, I gave a lecture about #SMLM as part of Bryan Millis's #Microscopy Education Program "Widening the Lens"🔬 sponsored by #cziscience #imagingthefuture - You can find my presentation on #figshare - Feel free to reach out in case of questions - Enjoy 😀👉 https://figshare.com/articles/presentation/Single-Molecule_Localization_Microscopy_Theoretical_Basis_and_Practical_Guide/19902511

Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy: Theoretical Basis and Practical Guide

A Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy (SMLM) lecture for life scientists was given virtually during the “Widening the Lens” Microscopy Education program at the Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA, on December 7, 2022. During the presentation, I gave the students an overview of practical aspects (sample handling, hardware) and the theoretical basis (image processing) of SMLM with the aim of making them more literate when dealing with such datasets and/or attempting to do their own measurements and analysis.   References of all used figures and videos are given. Please feel free to contact Ulrike Boehm in case of questions.
