Running #ImageOptim on the M2 Max Studio, pegging the CPU at 100%. Interesting to see the real-world wattage use of the machine, both with and without Low Power mode enabled. I've NEVER heard a fan sound from it. First image is full power wattage, second is low power. Definitely makes a difference!

Re-encoding and optimization of PNG images removes junk data from files.

Optimizing PNGs (including #ImageOptim) happens to fix leaky files from the "#Acropalypse" Android bug.

Anyone know of an ImageOptim alternative to works on an M2 MacBook Pro without needing Rosetta? Some hoops to jump through for the beta version of ImageOptim with support and no clear path it shipping. #imageoptim #applesilicon #frontend #webdev
