Katsuhiro Otomo's anime epic, Akira is coming to the IMAX in April. It'll be almost exactly 35 years since I first saw it at an almost deserted Bradford Playhouse (twice) in April '91.

Watched Project Hail Mary in IMAX at the cinemas. Absolutely brilliant!

It actually follows the book pretty well which surprised me - I'm used to seeing tweaks and edits being done. The only real tweaks is cutting down the scientific babble (which I guess was done to make the film accessible to a wider audience).

I honestly loved it. Can't wait for it to come out on Bluray so I can own it!
