Katsuhiro Otomo's anime epic, Akira is coming to the IMAX in April. It'll be almost exactly 35 years since I first saw it at an almost deserted Bradford Playhouse (twice) in April '91.

Definitely a mandatory viewing from me, it'd be rude not to.
@Blerkotron 35 years ago, sat in a tiny theatre with about 5 other students watching a cyberpunk epic set in the far-flung future of a dystopian 2019.
This isn't the cyberpunk future we were sold. Dystopian, maybe, but I want my psychic powers and huge red motorcycle dammit! :)
