I liked "Project Hail Mary" a lot. The central relationship (trying to avoid spoilers here) was sweet and well-done, and that was the core of the story so it drove everything. The production values were extraordinary (saw it in IMAX). I'm Just Ken did a good job delivering a reasonably complicated role.
A couple of little criticisms:
The movie's sense of humor didn't work at all for me. I have a limited tolerance for "funny because fall down", and it burned up that tolerance in the first 5 minutes and then kept going. Other people were laughing, though, so that may just be me.
We all love "Refusal of the Call", it's a classic, but it should really only happen once. Twice at the outside. Four is right out.
