This is the Damned Hellworld of Neurotypicalia, fated to devour itself. As I said, it was better when it was just bacteria, and then when it was just plants. But at some point the predator-prey system developed and that was all she wrote. So now it'e just waiting.

[P] I've felt as though this isn't my home for so long. It's odd really, isn't it? I wonder how many cultures have a word like hiraeth? Even one that has that word seems to have forgotten it. "I am an alien here. I long for a home that I can only scantly glimpse, distant shores heard in whispers and teeming with exotic life. Y'know, all that rot. I've always found it difficult to feel anchored here.
