A hard freeze and snow (1 in/2.5 cm) are forecast overnight, so this may well be the last hurrah for the garden.
The warm autumn so far meant that the leaves of the oakleaf hydrangea (H. quercifolia 'Ruby Slippers') are only just starting turning. I doubt I shall have long to enjoy their crimson shade.

Dug up pelargonium geraniums to overwinter indoors, and brought in a few pots to see how long their annuals can make it. Also pulled the very last green tomatoes.
